The Music Continues
We have decided not to stop the music, not to stop the beauty and the contribution that art can give even in this period.
The festival in 17 years has involved hundreds of artists, a wide audience, a wonderful city and a territory in a beautiful community experience made, not only of those who live in the same area, but of all those who despite living thousands of kilometers far, over the years have never lost opportunity to join us in Alba.
This year the festival moves online but keeps its original dates (from May 21st to 31st), with activities in the morning and in the afternoon and the main evening concerts, videos and greetings from our friends from all over the world, and partners such as Chesapeake Orchestra, River Concert Series and St. Mary's College of Maryland who will boost overseas broadcasts.
Festival will include as usual a variety of events, workshops, meetings-the-artists moments, back-stages, the International Composition Seminar with Elliott McKinley, Bruno Murialdo’s Photo exhibition and curiosities such as the recipes of Alba Music Festival with Bruno Cingolani.
Everything will be on line on our website and on the most popular social platforms ... the definitive calendar is coming soon.
Come with us to follow the concerts of Bruno Canino, Gian Luca Pasolini, the Quintet of the Teatro Regio of Turin, the trumpets of the RAI National Symphony Orchestra, Giuseppe Nova, Andrea Bacchetti, Armoniosa, the Venice String Trio, the Harps from LaVerdi Milan Symphony Orchestra and many other artists and contributions from all over the world with Jeff, Nathaniel and Zachary Silberschlag, Josè Cueto, Nancy Roldan, Aiman Mussakajayeva, Sung Hee Park, Elisso Bolkvadze, Brian Ganz, Gudni Emilsson, Claude Villaret, Jeffrey Chappell, Elisso Gogibedaschwili, Pavel Ionescu and many other friends of the festival.
Come with us to discover in a different way the city of Alba: the San Domenico Church, the San Giuseppe Church, the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, the archaeological route of Alba underground and the Diocesan Museum, the San Giovanni Church, the Banca d'Alba Palace, the historic cellars Pio Cesare, the Choir of the Maddalena Church, the Publiproget Art Space and as a tribute to the UNESCO landscapes, the Grinzane Cavour Castle.
Art and culture are necessary and fundamental values that should not be stopped. We wish you stay with us for this unusual festival to celebrate art, the city and the territory, artists and the audience, supporters and everybody who collaborates to build the Festival.
